With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in fashion design, Noa Bolozky began her career as a makeup artist during her time working as a designer in New York City in the 1990’s. In addition to working for a host of fashion houses, including Betsey Johnson, Noa designed her own private label, Noa Portée, and styled the line’s photo shoots and fashion shows. Noa Portée designs were carried by numerous retail outlets in Los Angeles, Boston and New York City and featured on television shows. In 1998, Noa began her transformation from fashion designer to makeup artist, as the head makeup artist for the independent feature film, Naked with Loons. She followed up her role as key makeup artist with several more films and commercials, as well as a host of runway shows in New York City and Los Angeles.

In 2001, determined to focus on her rapidly expanding career as a makeup artist, Noa left the field of fashion design permanently. Styling models, actors, celebrities, news anchors, and brides, Noa worked in New York City and Los Angeles in a host of roles as a film, television, event, and fashion makeup artist. In 2003, Noa was hired as a regional makeup artist by Becca Cosmetics. The following year, she was named a national artist for the makeup line, traveling nationwide to promote the brand in boutiques and to style editors in newspapers, magazines, and television stations.

When she wasn’t traveling around the country, Noa was still working constantly, making up models, celebrities and musicians, styling magazines, runway shows and album covers, as well as commercials, films and music videos.
